Front grill dilemma?

Mike it's: nakatanenga.de
Just don't forget to look at the wing vent box, still amazed nobody's thought of doing it over here, come on YRM and I'll trial the first for free!

FYI Just returned from the Nackerthingy website, pleasantly surprised at the grill prices...so bought one, £55 all in delivered. One thing that is interesting is their l/h wing vent lockbox.

One note of caution about the grills.
What you have just ordered is the flat alloy one and not the profiled Heritage one shown in my earlier posting, fine if you are aware of that but could be the cause for disappointment if you were expecting the more expensive model and thought you had grabbed a bargain.
A second note of caution, in my experience the Nakatanenga grills do appear to be susceptible to corrosion and I have since had mine re-painted as the original coating was in poor condition after just a couple of years. The headlight finishers are still ok but have only been on for 18-months, only time will tell if they go the same way.

Yup it's alloy I wanted, I put an R.M. galv grill on the S3 it looked well worn within the week (salty roads). With the headlight finishers I will do the same as I did to my exMil 90 and use two S3 light finishers. With a galv Mil bumper early 110 door tops it should look OK (300 TDI 90 in white). Will start a thread soon, so sorry for any hijacking!

Mike, My browser (chrome) asked if I wanted translation as soon as I got on the site.

OK, Thanks. I got that also. Thought I might be missing something.

Going into Primer shocking PINK !!

Very nice!!

Currently looks a bit pinky purple, but I think that will get toned down a bit when it's all put back together with the darker rubbers and bumpers etc. Will definitely stand out a bit in a crowd :)

Wheel arches are standard primed and painted in Sanntini black, grill is from LRS Off road and adventure specialists £110. Alloy backing B&Q.
