What for petrol/diesel what year? They may also need switching on in the BECM if it's never had any fitted.

All front bumper covers should have fog lamp holes. You just take out the blanking plates.

My Diesel didnt come with them as standard but all the wiring was there all i did was plug them in and buy a new switch work fine..

The fog lamps are switched by the BECM. If they are not activated in it they won't work. Hows that for conformation did you not believe me the first time i said it?

Not on a 1999 on cause they won't fit on a diesel unless you move the gearbox oil cooler. The will fit on the earlier diesel but not on the one with the fan fitted. Need to provide vents for air flow to cooler though. Specially if you do any towing in warm weather.

When you press the switch to turn them on the BECM switches them. If you press again it will switch them off. If you switch off ignition with fogs on they will not come on again until the switch is pressed again. There is an option in lighting section in the BECM to select if fogs are fitted or not. If it is set to "yes" they are plug and play. If it is set to "no" it needs changing to "yes" before they will work. Try our sponsor Emmotts he will surely have some. They are not cheap items new.
