I have the common issue of my front door handles not retracting properly.
I've ordered new parts STC3063 and STC3064 from both John Craddock and JGS4X4 but both have said that STC3064 (drivers door) is on back order and they don't know when it will be available.

This has been about 4 months now.
Does anybody know what's going on?
Anywhere I can reliably get these parts from the UK?

Could try ringing Rimmer Bros. They're very helpful and would know of any supply issues.

They only sell kits for the passenger side. These passenger side ones are still available online.
No one seems to have one for the driver's door.

I have a 3D printer but I doubt any of the filiments I have could handle the abrasion and they would just wear out.
Yes I agree, but the guys at work are always looking for interesting projects.

Current plan is to get a worn part from a handle so they can scan it. Then remove the worn bit from the scan before printing in various materials to see. Although they are limited by "home office" printers, they can buy various filaments & upgrades through work as they also do printing for other work projects !!

If they can print polycarbonate or nylon, it may work. Unsure.
Best I can do is ABS so it would be chewed up in no time.

Another way to go would be to scan, print and then sand cast an aluminium part.
This may well transfer the wear to another more difficult part to replace. Unsure on that.
I don't know how sensitive the dimensions are either, the extra step of casting may make the part unusable.

Or what I might try is just filing the cam out so it's oversized and glue in a thin metal liner.
This will hopefully remove the notch and prevent it form wearing out again.
Maybe when the weather improves a bit.

Have the same issue on mine (passenger side for me, LHD here), have the kit in backorder from an UK supplier since November.:(

Both sides on mine. I've got into the habit of close and slap! Suppose I will have to sort, one day. I did wonder about Quiksteel as that's pretty easy to mould and quite hard.

Or island 4x4 they got them I think give them a ring I tried to post a pic but it’s not working

They don't, I've ordered form there.
They'll take your order then tell you it's on back order.
I've asked them when they will receive them. They don't know.
This was four months ago.

Seems that nobody on the planet has that kit in stock, sadly. Rarer than uranium
Hope my passenger handle will resist till the kit comes back, since it is harder and harder to pull every time.

Fortunately when I did mine a couple of years ago I bought spares as stock was low back then. Try James Coleman on the Range Rover P38 UK facebook site, he has pretty well everything

Not had the handles off - which bit wears? If it is a cylindrical pivot point, would it be possible to 3d print with a brass or bronze sleeve part preplaced to include in the finished article as a wear surface?
