Front cross member bolts

DISCOVERY 2 TD5

Broke my 6 sided 10mm socket!

Is it possible to decat without removing the front cross member?

Yes, jack the body as high as you can and the downpipe is easily removed/replaced.

Changed my whole exhaust last year and didn't touch the cross member.

BTW I meant D2 and it is a TD5

not sure about TD5 but I'm sure a TD5 owner will be along any minute.......

you will need to remove it , not a snap on socket obviously

captive nuts can be chiseled off
