Front axle weight thingy at bottom of hub. Which way?

I've just changed swivel seals, wheel bearings, discs pads etc. and being the numpty that I am forgot to put these weight things on. The are thick heavyish pieces of steel that bolt on through the bottom swivel pin. Now I've realised I can't remember if it pointed to the front or back? Could someone kindly advise me which way? Ta

rearwards ,you was lucky bolts dont usually undo easily ,but you dont need to remove them to do swivel bearings etc
