I dont usually comment in this section, hope I'm welcome here.
I have a series 109, which now has a deffy rear axle, and I'm working on a deffy fron axle.
I intend to weld on 40mm standard lift brackets on, but on in a diffo place and modded to fit the series's leafs (the lift is so the track rod will clear the leafs), also redrill the tapped holes in the axle casing so that the diff nose angle is 90 degrees rather than the deffy's 12.
The reason for this post is just that what bits should I check or replace now that I have the axle fully stripped down, one of the seals is totalled and there was water in the swivel on that side, the balls look ok, how do I check the railko's.
Anyone in the north west have a scrap swivel ball housing?, I want to get one, saw the ball off and make it into a drill jig.

If you are refurbing an axle then do it properly and change what needs changing. Its easy while the axle is off the motor. You'll kick yourself if you get it all together and then you need to strip it all down again to change more bits.

Yes it is, I will send a PM.
Thanks.

Thinking of buying a couple of ball kits from paddocks, the ones without the ball just for the gasket set as the orig balls are fine, and buy or make a new diff gasket, and maybe a couple of lower taper roller burrins for the steering.
