Front axle identification.

Can someone help with identifiying what varient and yr this axle is off so I can refer to the correct manual / guide for end float etc. The washer is bolted to the end of the drive shaft. The washer retains a felt seal. After removal of the drive flange it has the normal 52mm hex nut setup.

That's a new one on me - I haven't seen one quite like that before. Is it factory standard or do you think that's an aftermarket modification somebody's done?

ot looks like someone has bodged it.... can yu pull the halfshaft thru the drive flange?

use the bolt to pull it thru.

Looks to be series 24 spline outter for a Lightweight however someone has fitted a std drive member I think.

I believe the lightweight had shorter outer front 24 spline shafts and uses a completely different outer drive member and cover

Looks like I better get hold of a couple drive flange for a lightweight then.
