Would love to come, but too short a notice and very busy at moment. Whereabouts in Poitou-Charentes are you? The Parents used to live in Le Bourdeau not far from Confolens, and I have an Aunt just south of La Rochefoucauld. Spent many happy times down there

Most of 'em high maintenance though - a bit like a series motor

If all goes well, i'll be doing a bit of a tour through France this summer - been ordered to drive down to the old ladies place near Carcasonne and repatriate a welding kit, bench grinder etc etc, so will be in touch if you fancy meeting up for a quick bite to eat or a pinneau or 5...

Well that I can believe it! I was "noh but a lad" when we used to go "totty spotting" in Harrogate (window shopping if you know what I mean)

I dont know about "a pinneau" but 5 sounds O.K

Absolutely fantastic weekend,wicked atmosphere,over a 100 lands Met a great couple from Brittany who practically pulled me
through some of the stages (crappy tyres) ended up in a quarry, took a very steep climb with out the diff lock on,lost traction,slid back down,nearly rolled,got winched up...WoW!

Too much to mention but eventually the event got cancelled by the
"Prefecture" Sunday dinner due to storm warnings on the Atlantic coast!!!

Best 40 eurkers (£30 that included meals for man & 2 spogs,t shirt & base ball cap) I've ever spent
