Before I try this off my own back and initiative, I am seeking advice from the Gods/Guru's of Landy knowledge...

I have mud flaps and a standard £30 bench seat to fit today to Bessie. Is there any particular thing I need to do with each, i.e. drilling, or are there holes already there in the chassis for the flaps, or in the back for the seat. The last thing I need is more holes for rain to come in, it's practically a swimming pool thanks to the side windows anyway.

Cheers chaps!:frusty:

If you are going off-roading / greenlaning you could save yourself some hasle and not bother fitting the mudflaps because they are likely to get torn off anyway.

Hi

That's a good point. I was thinking of drilling a small hole at the bottom of each one, and "hooking" them up onto the handles at the back of the chassis.

But I shall consider your advice, now!

Hiya Glasgowkiss,

bench seats will require two holes in the wheel boxes a side... on mine there is a through bolts with big washer underneath connecting the base of the seats. The back of the seat slots into the railing along the side of the landy.

You going to Lochgilphead this weekend ?? If so will probably see you there..

Cheers

Ah that sounds good.

I've checked the slroc website and it's saying the next event is Glenmavis on the 6/7th Dec.

Am I missing something?

Also, which guy are you? I can't seem to find much information about you on your profile to put the "landy to the face" kinda thing LOL

Cheers:confused:
