Freelander1 auxiliary belt tensioner

Hi I have freelander1 1999 petrol with a/c for my sins and just changed auxiliary belt but tried tightening the adjustment bolt and it’s solid i can loosen the bearing but I cannot tighten the main adjustment bolt or loosen it anybody have any ideas or got one for sale please
 
Hi nodge68 yes mate the bottom adjuster [GALLERY=][/GALLERY] bolt is solid after having loosened bearing , I’m I missing something hopefully pictures up load ok cheers .

Do you have to undo the two small bolts just under pulley ? As I’m just undoing the middle bolt of pulley and trying to turn big bolt at bottom that’s inside the small block at bottom cheers

You release the pulley centre nut 2 turns, which should allow the pulley to slide, when the long adjustment bolt is turned.
 
Yeh basically what I’ve been doing ,I think . .So I will have another go tomorrow thanks for help .

If the long adjuster bolt has seized, then you'll need to remove the whole tensioner assembly from the block, so you can access the back of the pulley, so you can apply lots of lube and maybe some heat too.
