Freelander with Clio Fogs?

Good evening,
some time ago I came across a description of a modification to adapt Renault Clio Mk2 fog lights to a Freelander but since I've lost the link I was wondering if someone might have seen it too and kept it for future reference.

it can be done!
adapted Clio Mk2 fog pods to the Freelander, main reasons are:
they are €10 for the pair at the breakers
from the OEM ones I only like the big ones for the V6

both bumpers have different angles so it needs some cutting and bending of the light pod to make it point forward


plastic trim, back detail for fitting the cluster


needs a bigger hole in bumper than the OEM ones

Really like that, mine does not have fogs fitted, is it an easy retrofit to put switches in etc

it was starting to loose paint and since the bumper was off...

it is not "plug and play" easy like the Land Rover kit, I´m still messing around with the electrical parts but that's half the fun

Reckon you could do a little how to guide?

Hey, did you ever manage to do a how to guide?

Looks a lot better than those 'orrible frog eyed protruding LR lamps.

how to they light road up? any pics is it out to side abit or straight forward beam
