freelander trailer electrics

hi had my 08 freelander 2 caravan electric socket cut and taken bought new seven pin socket to replace the stolen one only trouble is electrics are different colours to every diagram i have seen they are 2 white 1red&white 1pink&blue 1brown&yellow any help in identifying these would be appreciated thanks

A simple test lamp (12v bulb in holder with croc clips on each wire) is a good substitute if you don't have a voltmeter.
Then process of deduction, put 1 clip to earth (towbar bolt or similar) then put sidelights on and see which wire lights your bulb. Repeat for other lights and the last wire will be the earth.
Careful that none of the tow electric wires touch each other while you are doing this or you'll blow a fuse

Just realised you may be talking about the grey socket, rather than the one for lights. Same basic principles still apply and I googled you a pic
