Symptoms started with loss of power, felt like fuel filter could be blocking, then could not rev above 3000rpm and engine management light flashing on. There were no stored codes. To cut the story short it was the fuel pump next to rear wheel. The filter and sediment bowl were both clean, pump still ran but sounded a bit rough. I was advised to try a pump and it was back to normal. Hope this can help someone else as I would not have suspected the pump initially.

The garage that did the work were able they said to measure actual fuel pressure which should have been around 300 psi but was only delivering 150 or less.
The other 'I cant rev and the light comes on' fault is the spilt turbo hose at the front. fixable in seconds with a screwdriver and a new hose...But you gets LOTS of smoke with this one.
