Next up, graphics. :D

Yeah, hope the business goes well. Your FL is looking good; like the wheels. Just taken soft top off mine and put on hard top as not looking very summery anymore! Had it on since May though so pleased with that. Considering making a rear silencer guard out of chequer plate. Not sure worth doing though as got MM slim exhaust now so not hanging down anyway. What you think?

Yep, two weeks notice left to work. Then I'll be my own boss. :D
Good luck mate. Steep learning curve I'm right in the middle of.
Advice I've been given.
Keep every receipt regardless if you think you'll use it or not.
Keep records of every journey
Get an accountant but get a price up front.
Loads of ways to save on tax so look em up.

Hope the new business goes well. Are you going to be doing the same sort of job when you are self employed?
FL1 is looking much better than mine. Mine is minus 50% of its wheels at present. :(

Cheers Phil, still summery at times lol. :)
I never bothered with a exhaust Guard, but a nice skid plate could look well. They have been done before. I'll see if I can find some pics. :D

Cheers, I've kept every single receipt. Got copy invoice books etc. Going to be a sole trader. Also got a business bank account with online accountancy. And a good business advisor. I'll have a look, thanks. Just sorted all my liability, road risk, tool, and motor trade insurance. That was fun lol. :)

Cheers mate, garage based and mobile remapping. Also supply and fit performance car parts, exhausts, brakes, suspension, spacers, filters, silicone hoses etc. So still mobile, and still on the spanners. But working for me and doing what I've always wanted to do.
Thanks, what's up with it? :)

Sounds like the sort of thing I should have done myself years ago. Sadly a bad back, dodgy knees and wrists and occasional sciatica makes full time vehicle work impossible now. :(
Good luck with the venture. ;)

My FL1 is being prepared for its MOT. It's giving me grief at every turn. I'm currently waiting for a pair of new front arms and rear wheel cylinders.

I was pushed into it by my company deciding my team was too expensive so decided to sell us off. :( When VR was offered I jumped at it.
