Hi
Can anybody tell me How many clutch cylinder does this model have. Freelander td4 2.0 diesel 2005.

2 - a master by the pedal and a slave in the gearbox

Thanks for your reply,one more question, if The muster cylinder brakes down and needs to be replaced you must replace The slave cylinder as well ?

You don’t have to but it is considered best practice

As the slave cylinder is inside the gearbox bell housing on a Td4 its not a quick job to do the slave cylinder

Are you sure it’s the master? You can disconnect it just above the gearbox - if the pedal goes stiff, then the master is probably OK.
