Hi all. I'm new to this site, but what I've seen - and read, gives me hope that someone can give me good advice.
My 2006 Td4 (2ltr) takes ages to fill at any garage, where the pump keeps tripping as I start to fill-up. It takes ages to get the tank filled and I'm getting really p***d-off. And when it's raining I'm getting b****y wet too! Other cars arrive and fill-up in no time at all, while my Freelander is left standing with the hose/pump clicking away. I've tried adusting the angle of the hose, etc, pushed all the way in as well as almost out of the filler neck. Nothing seems to work. I initially thought it was something to do with the design, but I'm awfully suspicious it's something else. Help?
