freelander rear window gaurd

i have just ordered a rear window gaurd from steves land rover bits on ebay for £67 all in,just wondering if anyone knows how to fit these

Enjoy!!! they are horrible to fit, the templates are no good and when you've drilled all the holes you'll find you have to file them all out to get the door trim to fit back on and have the holes line up for the guard.

major nightmare to get it all neat and a pointless accessory anyway

Don't remember having too much difficulty fitting ours. It took longer than I thought it would and we "dry fitted" it all before drilling the plastic. Took about 45 mins and two cuppas.

what drilling is involved and does the loadspace cover still work correctly

yes loadspace cover will still work.

You have to drill the door to fit the brackets that hold the guard and also the door panel so the guard can go through it and into the brackets
