Hya landy fans, I have taken the radio out of my 03 Freelander but for the life of me cannot unplug the plug on the back , I know it should be straight forward but I just can't get the beast to come off. Also does anyone know a reliable garage in the Blackpool area who can service it. Suggestions would be appreciated. Eddie

No problem - you can leave the plug in place. All you need to do is use some side cutters and just cut the cables and you will now be able to remove your radio;)

from memory there is a small clip on the side which you remove/slide first, then the plug comes off (depending on which head unit you have)

might wann change your user name or you is gonna be spammed

If its a standard ISO connector then your correct OP. there is a clip on the side that needs pushing in to release. they can be a bit tight at times sometimes a small terminal screwdriver helps if you slip it down the side. kepp trying till you get it!!
