:welcome2: hi, ive got a `98` xedi freelander and the power steering pump seems to be leaking fluids is there anything that can be done or is a new pump required, if so are they easy to fit. thanks

they can be fixed, BUT it requires making your own gasket between the 2 halves of the pump, as this is what goes, and they cannot be bought seperatly, otherwise its a new pump at 180 + vat ish

do you know if they`re easy to remove and refit, im fairly competent at most things, does it require any specialist tools

no special tools required, it is easier to remove front bumper and rad, then its a piece of ****!
