hi, just wanted to see if any one could help. ive had a freelander 2000 1.8 for 2 months now i have just found that is leaking oil, its coming from the timing belt side quite high up near the head gasket. is this a hg failure or could it be a simple oil leak fik needed. ive still got 1 months major parts warrenty left on it so hoping it will get fixed by them. but ive had problems with warrentys before when they try an get out of fixing it, so i just rang trading standards and they said that because i have only had it 2 months has long has its not just normall wear and tear then they have to fix it under the sale of goods act anyway. but i ve noticed that there are small bits of what looks like copper filings in the water???? is this related.
thanks for any help,

p.s i dont need any you shouldnt have bought one of these comments stressed out enough!!!!!!:)

Camshaft oil seals, done ours last year:) The copper filings will be K-Seal, thats a worry:confused:
