Thanks very much, Spot lights are ordered black rectangle ones with similar style guards to the head lights should arrive early next week. Going to fit new hub to the drivers side front this weekend which will hopefully sort out the abs sensor problem. Will update again soon.

Been running the cable for the CB radio antenna today connected the coax at the antenna end...

Removed the tailgate trim and. Cable tied the coax onto the existing loom....

And run the coax through the rubber gromet into the boot....

Ran the coax under the carpets and connected it all up, replaced the spare wheel and she is all up and running.

wondered about running a cb radio myself....thanks for the pics :) only concern i have is i have 215/80/15 tyres and where the coax connects to the antenna. It looks really close to the wheel cover.....i wonder if i would not be able to connect it??

any pics of the cb fitted?

I got a 215/65/R16 spare and a wheel cover, loads a room for cable....

The mount I bought is quite big there are smaller ones but I wanted something with a bit of strength so opted for a bigger one. It should clear those size tyres on.

There are pictures on the previous pages bit here is another one of the cb

Also fitted new wipers all round but that's just boring.

If yer put too many mods on it the tratter boys might want it fer themselves.

Nice pics.

As promised. This shows some convaluted tubing with all the wiring going from lights to rear of Shark fin aerial. Having cut the rubber gasket to allow the wires through and down into the origanl aerial locating hole. then siliconed up for waterproofing. Dry as a bone.

This shows the connector as I linked in the previous post from fleabay. Again all waterproof and works perfectly. I have removed some tape for you to see clearer. Simply unplug lights, remove roof rack. hey presto!!!

The connector is exactly what I was looking for, ordered one today. Thanks for the pictures mate. Your roof rack is ****in awesome by the way.

So been thinking about the wiring the spots at the front. I don't really want them wired into the full beam. Would rather they had there own switch. On the heater switch panel there is a spare space for a switch next to the rear window de-mister and AC controls. Anyone ever done anything like this

Land Rover do a light kit fog or driving spots and the switch mounting and switch goes in a little cubby hole above the drivers side glove/fuse box. I read somewhere on here a disco owner had altered the switch to a simple on off for his lights instead of going through the loom.
PArt No. YUG000320LNF just an idea to keep the dash original.

what did you use to get the land rover lettering in white on the back bumper?

They're stainless steal letters made especailly for the job. I got them off fleabay from someone selling his freebie they were on. No idea if they're custom made or over the counter. I found a photo with them on years ago and been lokking ever since, then Fleabay comes up trumps!!! Pretty rare I think.

Got home from work expecting 4 spotlights to have arrived, opened box and there was only 2. Idiots. Quick phone call to where I bought them, oh sorry did you buy 4? Idiots. Posting them out next and refunded the cost of one set. Result. Took off the blue ones and had a little mess around and fitted 2. Other 2 will go on next week when they arrive.
