Sad to say it RO51, but this forum has one of the lowest levels of technical knowledge I have encountered in an online community. Sure, there are some very clued up people, but they are the minority.

I now have the information that I need... Thanks to the person that messaged me who I will keep anonymous

So I will cad the parts in at work Monday and laser the parts out. I'm going to make two sets one 40mm and one 50mm fit the 50mm first and see what catches if anything

I'm tempted to just fit 50mm and modify the inner wings for the steering arms

And put longer brake hoses on the callipers.

Ok that's no issue I will try both sizes out and see just how much will need to be done but I'm thinking of other things for the steering too but that I'm going keep to my self for now until I think it can be done successfuly

Good luck with the spacers would be nice to see some pics when done. Pleased you found the info you wanted pitty some people took the request a bit personaly.

Cheers eggman I will take plenty of pics don't worry, looking forward to building again on a more modern project nothing extremely ott but a more factory look

Seen a few things floating round the Web for inspiration so should be nice

Hi RO51. I hope you are able to find what you are looking for. I wish I could help you. But sadly I am right at the bottom of the pile when it comes to this subject. I am learning so much here which is good cos I have to do it all myself as I can't afford a Mechanic. I do look forward to seeing the fruit of your research and labor. And to see the finished articles on your wagon. Good luck and Happy fabricating.

:)

Kind regards

Thanks for the support guys, budget is always the interesting part of a build lol even if I could buy I would rather not. Building your own offroad vehicle is such a pleasure... getting over that obstacle that you couldn't last week and knowing that it's your handy work that done it gives me a buzz. Trial and error and sharing experience of building makes for a better truck in the long run. And that's all round for every one

After some of the cars I have built in the past people have taken the pist out of the freelander but I'm confident that with the rite work in the rite places it can hold its own.

Thinking outside the sheep pen can bring good things just remember that
