Freelander IRD help please

K9.crasy. Were the flexy brake pipes changed as well as the ridged pipes? If not, that's your problem. However the Freelander's brakes can feel a little woolly compared to new car brakes.

Thank you, I've passed all of this on and he's going to check those things for me when he can. Only the rigid brake pipes were changed, so that may be an answer.

Springs - when I replaced the main suspension springs, you have to take the shock absorbers off. On the rear wheels you have to disconnect the brake lines to get the shocks off. Meaning that when finished, the brakes have to be reconnected and carefully bled. There is a possibility that I didn't bleed them throughly making my brakes a bit like yours. I decided to have them looked at by a professional.

You mean the brake pedal comes up and goes hard, until the engine is running, when it sinks
