Freelander diff seal advice please

I have done a search but cannot find the answer. Can anyone give advice on changing the oil seals on the rear diff on a 53 plate Freelander 1 td4. All 3 seals are damp. Are any specialist tools required to dismantle them etc? Thanks in advance.

C'mon girls, someone must have changed the diff seals on a Freelander. My mate is sitting waiting for a reply like an expectant mother.

you need to get new crushable spacer as well as seal ,grease inside of seal to hold garter spring on when fitting seal ,you need to make a ar too hold flange while you tighten flange nut ,remove free play then tighten a little till you can feel a slight preload on pinion bearings by rotating flange back and forth
