Hi all. My wife has a 53 plate Freelander that started to leave a small trail of diesel on the road.
I have discovered on start up, you can see a small amount of diesel spray from the injector pump, but ticking over I could not see any leaks.
Someone told me this is a common problem and could be leaking from a cover plate on the pump and you can replace the seals on it.
The car is old (So is my wife) but she loves it.
Are there any members that could remove the pump and replace it with a refurbished one for less than a garage would charge?
I am in Basildon, Essex
