I recently bought the last of the Freelander 1 september 2006.I noticed a clunk :mad:under the vehicle when turning right or left but only on almost full lock maybe 90%, but not in reverse,it seems to come from different places ie; under the passanger seat, near the rear near side wheel, somewhere in front and even under the drivers seat, sometimes its louder than others.I had all three bushes replaced and 3 good machanics searching but its still a mystery. So can anyone help:),any help or advice would be most appreciated:eek:.Thanks

Which bushes did you change?

sounds like diff mount - but a bit new for that

what tyre/wheel combo do you have?

If you get the clunk when going from first to second gear, it's likely it's the rear diff bushes.

If you get the clunk when turning on uneven ground, it could either be the anti roll bar hitting the struts, drop link bars are bent/joints worn, or your control arm joints are worn.
