Freelander Anti Theft System (Help)

Hello Everyone,
Just recently in my quiet little street there was a theft up the road and it made me wonder on what the anti theft system is like on my freelander.
My Freelander is a Y Reg (2001) and is a ES TD4.

Does anyone know what type of protection (IE: Thatcham approved) does my freelander have and also more importantly are they any good.

Any feedback will be gratefully appreciated.

Our Freelander has an alarm and engine immobiliser. Best of luck to anyone who can get it going without the key as the key is part of the imobiliser. The alarm in ours also has a movement detector inside similar to the proximity detectors in house alarms.

Nothing will help is they decide to tow/trailer your Freelander away in the night.
