Yep can't keep any of us happy. We have too much of the wet stuff and the bottom right hand corner don't have enough. Even if we send them some they'll just water their gardens and wash their cars till they use all ours up too. Its like walking thru a chemist shop, shelves of perm lotion to turn straight hair curly, sitting beside shelves of hair straighteners to turn curly hair straight, you can't keep anybody happy...

Happy Monday to all, back at work so back to surfing. Checked out all the cooling bits over weekend and all seem ok. Thought I'd let Mondo know I read in the paper on Saturday that the jocks are getting squeezed out of their houses by loads of folk from the bottom right corner of the country all buying houses up here "because of the better life style" even though its wet.

Hello Rock!
Yep Know what you mean, theres a village near us thats been completly decimated, Out of about 70 houses, there only two that have permanant residents, rest are all holiday lets

Well Mondo don't need to worry about me and the missus invading your bit of land. Can't see me getting enough for a 2 bed semi up here to buy a trailer home in engerland...

You've all lost me now, how does having the A/C on in the cold wet weather stop the windows misting up???
I have always turned the control to windows, set the temp to warm or hot and the fan on setting 2 or 3 and in a matter of mins the windows are clear, even quicker when the re-circ button is on!!!

Hi Jerry, don't know HOW it helps but it does seem to work. Thats why I posted on the forum to see if it was a common problem and to see if some of the guys with more knowledge of the mechanics of the car could help me. I just put petrol in and try to keep the thing between the hedges.. Rock

Well Jerry its a good idea with air con in the colder days with heat on and yer windows get all steamed up just switch on yer ac with the heat settings still on,this will de humidifies the cab ,also leave it on for 15 min a month in colder weather as it lubes up ac unit ,hope this explains it. . . .:)

I'll try your fiendish plan next time I get a bit misty. I do run the A/C in the winter to keep it in order. Thanks Ming.

No need, I think, because if I recall correctly, the a/c is on automatically when you have the demister setting on the dial in order to dehumidify the cabin. Also, the wing mirrows heat up too.

Cheers
