Having spent four days on my own, trying to fit the serpentine belt, with the help of two neighbors it is now fitted.
Next time I would make a 50 mm diameter hole in the inner wing opposite the tensioner pulley, so that a 24mm socket can be used to pull the pulley towards the front of the vehicle, while someone under the vehicle, finally slides the belt over the idler pulley ( ungrooved )
This way the person pulling on the spanner/socket and the tensioner pulley is not getting in the way of the person trying to get the belt in place.
The hole in the inner wing can be filled with a plastic plug.

You cut a 50mm hole in the metal work:eek::eek:. That's part of the crumple zone that was carefully designed by many hours of computer time.

You'll need to tell your insurance company that you've made it much les safe in an accident.

It's much easier to lift the engine a few inches to get to the belt tensioner.;)

Why would you cut an hole in the inner wing ? when you could just use an aviation spanner as below, so easy ;)
