Freelander 2002 sunroof

HELP!! I have had some help from this site but the sunroof is still not working. Does anyone have a techsheet or know of a site where I could buy one, for fitting replacement sliders and motor to sunroof. My son has taken the roof apart and rebuilt it but is still unable to open and close the window. I have found the 'exploded view' of the sunroof on another site but it is not much help in refitting it.

It's not a sunroof. It is a chimney.

Ok, my normal advice is if its shut pull the fuse and leave it. However if you have taken it apart and need some details about it, the timing is important so do a search on this site and download the rave manual which should give you the required info. We have replaced the rails on 4 TD4 and after the first one found it not to much of a problem, there are ways of repairing the plastic components that break so saving the cost of £150 for both sides, but if you can leave shut and forget about it

That's the advice I followed after I managed to close it. Pulled the fuse and put a layer of siliconekit all around to make sure it's waterproof and keeps closed.

Thanks for all your help my son has fixed the sunroof but I think I shall just rely on air con in the future...........too much hassle and stress for me to do other wise. Thanks again.
