Hello, new here and wondered if you could be of any help?

We have inherited a 2010 Freelander 2 TD at work, with 135k on the clock.

Few troubles though, it only has front wheel drive? Diff / half shaft or someone mention to me a solenoid?

Next, around 2000 rpm you push the throttle and is seems like the clutch slips for a few seconds in Sixth gear?? (Had new clutch and dual mass flywheel)

Air bag light comes on after roughly 20mins of driving??

Thanks in advance :)

The Freelander 2 uses a haldex unit at the rear to engage drive to the rear. The haldex is operated by an electrical signal which tells it to connect the rear diff to the drive from the engine/gearbox/front diff.

Air bag will need a fault code read using odbii diagnostics.

Blue one's are betterer. ;)

oops no. I read the air bag fault as abs. What I should have said is the air bag light will need a code read. I will nip back and change it.

Haldex is more difficult to fix. There are possible fault codes available if one is called up. Failing that it may not be working due to the signal which controls it not being present, the oil inside the haldex being low or crap after a lot of use, or the filter bunged up. You can get a service kit for them. Best option may be to take it to a garage to have someone check it out.
