Hi, I'm new to all this. I've just brought a freelander 2 td4 xs 2010 and the front and rear parking sensors don't work. When I put the car into reverse the sensor button on the dash just flashes and goes out and the same for when you button is pushed manually. Normally I would put the vehicle in reverse with the Ignition in position 2 and listener to each sensor and see which one doesn't click, but I don't have a physical ignition barrel as I have a key card.

Is there any other way to test the sensors or is it a diagnostic job.

Cheers Russell

Just because it has a key fob and dock, it doesn't stop the ignition from working in the same way is a more conventional key.

Although the FL2 PDC system shuts down if there's a sensor faulty.
Really you need to have a diagnostic run on the PDC system to identify the faulty sensor.
