Haven`t used my Freelander 2 much since New Year apart from a couple of short drives just around the block to keep the wheels turning ;-)
Got in it today and noticed that the anticipated mileage range was missing. I am sure it used to mention how many miles worth of driving were left in the tank.
I drove the car into town this morning and put £20 worth of diesel in the tank in the hope this would move the sender unit ( I appreciate the sender unit only sends a signal to the fuel gauge, which appears to be functioning correctly ) and prompt a reaction. It moved the fuel gauge reading from just under half full to just over half full.
I returned home after a round trip of about ten miles and the mileage display was still blank. See attached photo, there should be an anticipated mileage reading just below the temperature reading if I recall correctly.
Is there a reset or is this an issue that needs further investigation?
Many thanks in advance for your replies and offers of help.
