Does anyone know the location of the flasher unit, as I need to change mine for a LED compatible one, as I'm changing to LED bulbs.

Freelander 2 doesn't have a separate flasher relay its part of the body control module

You'll need CANBUS compatible LEDs
No wonder I can't find it. I've got canbus bulbs but I have what is called hyper flashing, where the bulbs flash twice as fast as if one has failed and reading about that problem they say you need a LED flasher unit as well. Oh well I will just give up and use the normal bulbs on my flashers and break and tail.
Thanks for the reply anyway.

The only way to control hyper flashing is to fool the BCU into thinking that you are using normal bulbs in the indicators. This means that a correctly calculated load resistor needs to be in line with the LEDs. This then makes the BCU flash the indicators at the correct speed.
