Hi I’m new to this site & don’t really know my way around, we’ve had our Freelander 2 for about 2 years now & not had any real problems yet other than starter motor which I fitted new solenoid kit , my problem is we were driving home on Boxing Day when it just cut out & wouldn’t start I looked for any visible problem couldn’t see anything, I disconnected the wire from the valve thing at front of the engine & reconnect & it ran for about 5 miles the stopped I repeated the same & it ran , what is the problem & how do we fix it I’m worried bout going out in it for now thanks.
