Freelander 2 Allterrain issue

The car drives fine until a full lock to the right is made. The orange warning then flashes with the all terrain error message. Along with this is a slight short vibration when I accelerate. Restart the car and all is fine until another full lock.

The car drives perfectly otherwise.

I wonder if the power steering pump is slowing down the auxiliary belt when on full lock, upsetting the alternater which triggers the dash warning light.
