Hi, I'm new to Lanyzone and wondered whether someone can help me with a glitch with my Freelander 2. Its a 2010 sd4, I had a flat battery last week, had a new one fitted, but now find that i have lost bluetooth connection, lost the miles per gallon reading under the time and outside temperature reading, and also the sat nav screen flashes on and off interfering with the cd/radio. This does eventually sort itself out but out of the blue does kicks in again.
Is this a simple fix? Thanks in advance.

Is this a simple fix?

You need to run a full systems diagnostic, as lots of the things you are having issues with aren't directly connected. For instance the dash readout has nothing to do with the audio system, as the systems aren't connected.

When you changed the battery, did you snap the last terminal on smartly, or let it spark and crackle as you connected it up?

If the latter, then removed the negative terminal again, and hold it against the positive terminal for 30 seconds, thus shorting out any capacitors in the vehicle, which will clear down any corrupted memory.

Thank you for your reply. I have a friend who works on Landrovers that has the diagnostic software to plug in and check it out. My local garage put the new battery on so didn't know what they did. Thank you again.
