Help my freelander 2 2.2 radio keeps going on off on off changed bt module still same changed amp still same help
Yes I tried 2 still same I put my isoft on no faults in any thing that could get in tooA diagnostic is needed. Normally regular sound stopping is the BT module on the fritz. Are you sure the replacement was working correctly, and not also faulty. It's quite a common fault, and the symptoms are always the sound stopping at regular intervals.
The Icarsoft should access all modules for the infotainment system, but it can't configure new modules. Some modules need configuration before they function correctly. I believe the BT module and amp both need to be configured, or that's what I think I've read. I've been lucky with both my FL2s, as they've not had audio system issues yet, although I may have just jinxed them.Yes I tried 2 still same I put my isoft on no faults in any thing that could get in too
Some others that have had same issue just swap the bt module and its OK with out configuring them just don't seam to work on mine don't no if its because mines 2010 and not 07The Icarsoft should access all modules for the infotainment system, but it can't configure new modules. Yes ever number and letter exactly the sameDid the old part numbers match with the PN on replacement modules you've fitted?
Read on some one saying altinater was there fault don't really see why as mines charging ok 13.5v new battery about 6 mounth ago its been fine just on way home last week and it started just going off then back on then seams OK then off it goes again like it's turned off with button then back on then off then back on does my head inYes ever number and letter exactly the same
Sounds like a temperature related fault. If a diag doesn't show anything, the to eliminate each module, you'll need to buy a MOST bypass loop so you can loop out each module in turn.Read on some one saying altinater was there fault don't really see why as mines charging ok 13.5v new battery about 6 mounth ago its been fine just on way home last week and it started just going off then back on then seams OK then off it goes again like it's turned off with button then back on then off then back on does my head in

Amazon or eBay. They are called MOST loop links, they normally come in a kit of male and female. Were would I get one off thoes

Once the unit being tested has been looped out with the optical cable, the power plugs can be unplugged.Got the loop cables put it on bt module still same do you unplug the other plug or just the fibre optic side
Don't have nav or unit under seat so how do I no if its Ampner head unit its not just sound that goes off it all turns off then back on again like its turned off with buttonOnce the unit being tested has been looped out with the optical cable, the power plugs can be unplugged.
You'll need to test the BT module, NAV unit under the seat, and screen in the dash. Obviously you can't link out the amp or head unit, as you'll not be able to hear sound to know its going on and off.
Can you swap the cd player or do you need to program that tooNot having the NAV screen or drive reduces where the issue can be.
If the whole lot shuts down, then comes on again, you can link out the amp to test it.
It could be the Front Panel Control unit or CD player behind it. Unfortunately you can't replace the front panel without programming, as it's the controller for the system. That doesn't mean it's not faulty, just replacing it isn't a straight swap.
According to LR, any part of the audio system needs configuration after installation, although this doesn't always seem to be the case. Can you swap the cd player or do you need to program that too
Hi mate fixed it turned out to be the dab module dint even no I had one only found it by accident looking for parking sensor module looped it out problem solved thanks for the helpAccording to LR, any part of the audio system needs configuration after installation, although this doesn't always seem to be the case.
