hi all I had a problem with the back censors and could not work it out and then one night I was backing into a tight space and I know others have damaged the cars before so the wife got out and immediately told me my near side reverse light was not working so yesterday I replaced the bulb and guess what the problems with my censors has gone has anybody else had the problem also to day got into my car and as usual put it into drive and it would hardly budge , now I have had it where the rear brakes bind onto the drum and a quick clang and they are off , but this was not the case I got the offending drum off and the brake was nearly solid on I backed it off and all ok , just wondering if any body else has suffered this too.

I had a seizing rear handbrake mechanism on mine when I picked it up last year. I had to take the drum off and really clean out all the dust and un-seize the handbrake mechanism. Seems to have done the trick.

The other side locked on after I'd left the Hippo standing for a while - I had to hit it with a hammer to get the shoes to unstick themselves. Again, not been a problem since?

yes I cleaned it all out and this afternoon gave it a drive and all ok I for got to say on the rear parking sensor as soon as I put it into reverse it was bleeping away with nothing behind me but all good now I changed the bulb and I know several on here had problems with their parking sensors

Yes with the rear brakes best to always check the expanders as they can seize on with all the brake dust build up, recently had the same problem on my FL2 which I had not checked until it was making a squealing noise now and again, not down to me mind as I had only owned for a few months, anyways I ended up changing the brake shoes expanders etc in the drum.
