freelander 1 td4 lost 5th gear

newbie on here , hello everyone! been in the motor years more years than i care to remember, my td4 freelander 04 has "lost" 5th gear, any help or ideas would be welcome, still drives in 4 gears and reverse, had a clutch 4mths ago, have replaced the gear linkage for a known good one............

does it go in to 5th or you cant get it into 5 th

wont go into5th, it tries, have been underneath, gear selector rods all in the right place and not catching anything, i think in the box or a gear selector fork?
