Freelander 1 - A bar & fog lights fitting (stc53082)

Hi all.

Managed to get one of these with foglights attached and all the relevant wiring and will be fitting them to my 2000 Freelander.

I have seen the instructions on myfreelander.co.uk but wondered how many of you have actually attached (or detached) one of these and have an hints or tips?

yep, fitted one to my old l series hippo.

takes most of the day to fit.

bumper comes off, you have to mount 2 brackets onto the Ally bumper, theres no pre drilled holes or nuts to fix to, you have to mount the brackets yourself onto the bumper.

and then drill 4 holes into your plastic part of the bumper for the fixings to go though and attatch to the chassis.

quite awquard to do the first time, but i got there in the end, and they look great when done.

I'll be starting it next week as I have a week off (and will probably need all of it!)
