Freelander 1 2002 Radio Code

I have a freelander 1 2002 which has had to have a new battery, with replacing the battery the radio has lost it's code and when i purchase the freelander there was no radio code given. Can any one help me?

Have you checked for a sticker in the passenger glove compartment?

I have called new local dealer which is about 30 mile away and they want to charge me £20.

I have checked and there is no sticker, Do you know it if would be anywhere else

I got mine from a chap on eBay for couple of quid!
He emailed me and ask for the serial number (which you can find out by pressing 2 & 6 together) he then emailed me the code.
Job done!

Mine was written on one of the booklets in the owners manual pack..4 digit number..

could be written on the rear of the unit - stupid but there you go !!!
