Out walking the dogs this morning, one found a Land rover combined fob & key where the key folds out. It has what I think is the key number and the remote frequency on it. Any idea which model its for and ideas to find the owner? It was a pretty remote area near Retford Notts.
Found L/R keys.

Best bet is take it to the Police station hand them in ,
You might get a reward ,I found a wallet last week in a supermarket car park took it to the police, this week I got a nice letter from the owner with £50 in it ...RESULT!
! and you get to feel that you did somthing right.
Or you could take it to a Landrover Main Dealer I would think that they would have a computer link to a Key/ car /owner data base and could reunite the owner with his keys

the owners probably dumped the Landy and chucked the keys to claim the insurance. haha

If its a rectangular one with lock , unlock , then a land rover button. I guess its Discover 3 / Range Rover Sport key.

If I was to have lost my keys I would be hoping that someone would be handing them in to a police station.
I think you should do that asap - and also post the info in the 'Announcements' section of LZ.
You may or may not ever hear of the matter again - but the reward will be in your heart - knowing you have done your best, and done the right thing - not only to hand them in - but to have publicized the finding of them.
