Eee I remember back in the day me and the lads in the tank core, yea I was in the cadets in camberwell London and never seen a tank let alone get into one, it put me right off joining

Tank Corps? You must be old, they became the Royal Tank Regiment 4thApril 1939.
My granddad never forgave them for changing it.
He served 1919- 1953 became an RSM in the deserts of North Africa 1942.

What do I know... the closest I got to being a solder was wearing the uniform, shooting a .22 and blowing the bugle...
