right yer!
ripped yet another fookin valve off in the mud

anyone else had this problem ? and if so any ideas how to stop it happening (short of not getting into deep mud )

the short metal ones as fitted to some alloys perhaps

cut a bit of pipe and weld it round yer valve like JCB's

have been discussing it with me mate only down side will the wheel balance up any sense , another option we discussed was drilling another hole just inside the spokes ..

does yer 90 go fast enough to need wheels balanced? or weld a lump of metal where the wheel balancer man says

Hellllllloooooooooooooooo?!?!

Will they solve the problem then?

probably would if i did'nt have tubes in 4 out of the 5
i actually went through and ordered um till they added the £9 fookin postage onto um fook me its not ebay ffs

Just google Flush fit valves. theres tons of other places sellin em. As for tubes, don think theres an alternative. Maytbe you could make some money gettin someone to produce valves with shorter stems, or 90 degree stems, that bend backwards, so they're less likely to get damaged....

tbh think i'm going to go wioth the drill another hole just inside the spokes (on the 8 spoke rims anyway)

ive seen some people put the valves on the back of modulars a wellers etc dunno if it helps mind worth a mention though :p

I remembered you last weekend when I was playing with a bobcat... they have shields around the valves, just like this:

:D cheers mate for that , thats what we were thinking of but as was said think there is going to be a balancing issue
going with the drill another hole inside and weld up the old hole have sourced another set of steel modular wheels so will get them all done couple at a time :D
