Had a slow puncture on one o' me road wheels (N/S/R) fer a few weeks. Not an immediate problem, but today it was flatter than a hedgehog after arguing wiv an 18 wheeler. So i can change all 4 wheels an put put me greenway machos on, or put the spare on. So, i puts the spare on an take it to the specialist tyre dealer next door but one from work. At half four he tells me that the tyre is goosed, an yes it is - sidewalls are fooked beyond recycling. £30 fer a part worn 205x16 with similar tread (BFG AT remoulds). FFS, £37 fer "brand newey" Colway AT wiv 18mm tread...

Collect it tomorrow, hopefully it will be a pucker BFG ;)
 
Gerrus some. I spent ferkin hours with paint stripper a wire brush thing in me angle grinder an a lung or two cleaning me wheels up only to find that a couple of them have rusted so much an bin painted over that you can knock an ole in em... any one got any cheap wheel rims.

sounds like a good deal to mee - why do yu have to live in the back end of nowhere, Trewy?

i can get em from taunton to b'stoke sumtime and Mondo mite be prepared to take em to Grunt - unless Grunt is going to the sodbury sort out - are yu Trewy?
 
dunno if it's standard or wot. Dunno wot size me one in the fost pic is. Dunno wot size standard is. Don't reckon I'll be at Sodbry It's a bit too far outside of Yarksheeeeeer fer me.
