Fob Engine Disabled

Hi all

Posted recently regarding fob issues, found a trick which worked now dead

get in the car key in ignition Engine Disabled press remote comes up the remote despite battery changed twice good strong light

Not getting any other error messages

Know its been done to death but advice and suggestions mines 1998 4.0se

I only had one set with the car when I brought it and the battery is near new

Have a look in the "how to" and send Mozz Smith a message he will be a able to point you in the right direction

According to the information mine should resync as its 98 model

I am not getting any joy I have discovered the dealers trick too and this no longer works I think its going to be need to be sent but what and to who I dont know will pm Mozzsmith though cheers

What is the dealers' trick?

there is a sequence of turns and button pushing which some bloke at Tesco who had a landrover 3000 td told me and it worked as mine syncd

Look at my last post details are there

Could also be the engine ecu has lost the code and diagnostics needed to resync to becm

Yeah I suspect that but at moment I just havent a second to do anything theres a place near Bristol which isnt far from me as I am in Near Chepstow
