Evening all ... Just a quick one ... has anybody ever had a problem with their wipers doing a sweep of the screen when they flash their lights? My 1993 Def 90 is doing it intermittently! Not serious but just a little annoying, especially when the screen is dry! Had a problem recently with the wipers stopping mid screen so changed the park switch and that's now perfect. Any similar experiences please let me know.

Poor earth on the wiper motor or behind the clocks?

Mine does it when I flash or go from dip to main beam.
Keep meaning to trace that dodgy earth!

Damn .. I never thought to check the wiper motor earth when I fitted the new park switch! .. I thought it would be some sort of live leakage in the stalk housing but I couldn't see anything obvious amongst the other 5000 wires in there! I'll check out behind the clocks first as I need to replace the speedo bulb. Thanks chaps

Well I've checked both of those now Blue and no different. Started doing it when indicating now so I'm guessing that there is a live jumping around in the column somewhere!
