Flashy things that go on when you un/lock

This is possibly my first post on here with a serious question. Over the weekend the flash function stopped working on the lock/unlock via the key fob. 2003/4 Defender 90 XS. Did go through a lot of water down in the borders. Still works as indicators and hazards. Is there a separate relay, isolator or fuse that controls this. I have tried a search, but not really knowing what to search for is a bit of a DNB.

Actually it isnt that serious. The locking function still works, just wondering

I can't help as my landy doesn't have all the electrickery yours has but I just had to express my astonishment at what I've seen to be your first ever landy related problem

Does the alarm itself work ?

If it does I'd check a relay
