Hi I'm wondering if anyone can help my freelander 2 drivers side window has got stuck in the down position , I can here a click when the button is pushed but ik not sure if it's likely to be the controller or the regulator any assistance would be appreciated or direction on where to start the fault finding

Thank you

In my experience the mechanical components fail before the electronic components, so check the lift cables first, as those often rust through. ;)

Thanks for the response I've been looking at window regulators , but cant seem to find any guides on how to correctly replace I'm confident I can do it just be nice to see a guide so I can get it correct lol

First of all remove the card and the damp proof film and have what’s wrong, may be as simple as bending the regulator back into position, if you find a damaged part that requires replacing then disconnect the regulator from the motor and anything else that holds it down and raise up the glass manually, add tape across the top to hold until u get the replacement item.
Replacing window bits and bobs can be found in all the workshop manuals.
